# Our principles

The NFTs and $RUNES are designed to work together to facilitate engagement within the community. We are driven by the goal to have a fair and transparent ecosystem free of scams, manipulations and freeloading. This commitment is crystalized in the $RUNES minting and distribution processes.

**How will $RUNES be distributed ? :** 

$RUNES will be minted over time, in line with the distribution schedule, with a maximum supply to be reached at some point in the future.

The vast majority of the $RUNES (90%) will be distributed to the ecosystem via multiple use-cases as ultimately defined by the DAO. The remaining $RUNES will be allocated to the Sanctum founding team.
